Welcome to the work of Auberon Wolf.
Auberon Wolf is a chosen name. What we choose and claim for ourselves is a source of immense transformative energy. My chosen name means I can bring my the most powerful version of myself to serve you.
Creating the stories you want told with your body, in your skin.
I want to help you feel like the your truest self, and to help you experience the elation of being seen—for who you really are, not what you’ve been born with, or what you’ve been through.
Many physical concerns can be addressed with the services I offer.
Our bodies can tell stories, and sometimes, we get the rare, empowering chance to hold the pen. I work with you on areola pigmentation, scar camouflage, scar and burn relaxation, vitiligo pigmentation, skin graft re-coloration, scalp camouflage, scar cover up, tattoo removal, aging and damaged skin treatments, and more…
People also get tattoo-based therapies for emotional or spiritual reasons.
Tattoos can help with: letting go of past choices, setting intentions in ink, memorializing loved ones, commemorating romantic unions, manifesting your ideal self, honoring your ancestry and culture, spiritual offerings or rites of passage, reminders and anchors of values and life lessons, physical transitions, overcoming fears, self-love, celebrating resilience and beauty, and more…
Holistic. Trauma-informed. Medical.
My services are enriched by lived experience, personal values and medical training.
My practice is body positive, feminist, culturally sensitive and LGBTQIA+ friendly.
I have been medically trained by EU standards to provide these services to you. These certifications allow me to work in hospitals, clinics and operating rooms in Europe. My sincere hope is that one day, our relationship to tattooing in Canada will look similar.
My journey has led me through my own experience of mastectomy, physical and emotional traumas, and mental health challenges. Humor, empathy and tattoos have supported my transformation from surviving to thriving many times, and I am passionate about sharing those tools with you.
My work as a traditional, permanent tattooist working with traumas and scars have been featured in many publications. Here are a few:
Accessibility means flexibility.
There can be a number of reasons why people may experience barriers to feeling comfortable and safe in a tattooing experience. I am committed to exploring what is possible to invite in those who have individual requirements.
Payment plans, sliding scale payment, trades and scholarships are available to those experiencing financial barriers.
I am also happy to customize a treatment plan with you based on your emotional, mental, and physical health needs.
Respect for culture, reconciliation and Indigenous peoples.
The collaboration between us to trigger transformation in your life takes place on the unceded, ancestral, and traditional homelands of the Musqueam, Skxwú7mesh, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples. I am grateful to live and work on this land, and I work to do so in respect and solidarity to Indigenous communities.
I welcome you to contact me. Together, let’s map your healing journey.
